📌 Fellowship Schemes Available

ICSSR has announced three types of Doctoral Fellowships:

Full-Term Doctoral Fellowship (Centrally Administered & Institutional)

🎯 Eligibility Criteria

You must be registered in a Ph.D. program and your research topic must be approved by the DRC or Statutory Body of the university.
Age Limit: 40 years (5 years relaxation for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwD).
Post-Graduation Marks: Minimum 55% (5% relaxation for reserved categories).
UGC NET is mandatory, but up to 10% fellowships may be given to non-NET candidates with outstanding research proposals.
Candidates who have already availed any major doctoral fellowship (UGC JRF, RGNF, MANF, CSIR, ICSSR, etc.) are not eligible.

🎓 Types of Fellowships

Full-Term Fellowship – Duration: 2 years, ₹20,000/month + ₹20,000 annual contingency.
Short-Term Fellowship – For scholars who have completed at least 3 years of Ph.D. research.
Contingency Grant – One-time grant for field trips, stationery, and computer-related expenses.
