About the Volume

This edited volume examines emerging legal, constitutional, and policy issues connected to gender identity and marriage equality, with primary reference to the Supreme Court judgment Supriyo @ Supriya Chakraborty v. Union of India (2023). It aims to bring together scholarly chapters from academics, researchers, and practitioners focusing on human rights, jurisprudence, legislative reform, and comparative perspectives.

Submission Guidelines

  • Word limit: 2000–2500 words (including footnotes).
  • Authors: Maximum 2–3 authors per chapter.
  • Formatting: Times New Roman, 12 pt; Headings: 14 pt bold; Line spacing: 1.5; Margins: 1 inch.
  • References: APA 7th Edition (full citations; include URLs & date accessed for web sources).
  • File format: Submit manuscript as .docx (Word). Also include a short CV (max 150 words) for each author.
  • Plagiarism: Similarity index should be below 10% (Turnitin / iThenticate report required on acceptance).
Publication & Printing Charges: ₹2,000 (Rupees Two Thousand Only) — payable after acceptance. Each accepted author will receive one complimentary copy of the published book.

Review, Publication & Copyright

All submissions will undergo blind peer-review. Accepted chapters will be edited for style and clarity. Authors will be required to sign a publication agreement assigning non-exclusive print & e-book rights to Shree Maa Publication. Copyright remains with the authors unless otherwise agreed in writing.
